Our story is simple.
Several years ago, one small group became three; out of that community a church is being born, and a new story of redemption is being formed. We don’t have everything figured out -either in our lives or our church- but we’re passionate about taking the next steps towards wholeness, wherever that may lead.
We would encourage you to check out the Stories page for a better picture of how we are learning and growing. Each week someone in our community writes a short story about something that God is doing in their life and it is shared via our weekly email and the website. This collection of individual stories is a window into the bigger story that God is writing for Imago Dei.
What To Expect (on Sundays)
OUR GATHERING
First off, come dressed however you’d like. No big deal. Most of us prefer jeans. Our gathering is pretty simple. Grab a cup of coffee and a Bible. In no particular order, we sing, are taught from the Bible, and share our stories. Simple.
WHERE WE MEET
Our gathering is at 10:00 AM at 210 W Arcadia Ave (see a map) in the old Arcadia Presbyterian Church building. You can can park around back off of Bigelow and enter through the doors in the parking lot. Just go straight up the ramp to get to the sanctuary or head to the basement to drop off your children.
CHILDREN
Genesis, our children’s ministry, has two rooms: one for babies/toddlers and the other for children through second grade. We take security seriously, so plan to get there 10 or 15 minutes early to fill out some paperwork the first time you drop your children off. For older children, feel free to bring colored pencils or other writing implements into our gathering.
