Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Rockford, Illinois, then moved to Rockton, Illinois in the 2nd grade.
Where did you go to school?
Bradley University. I’ve been in Peoria ever since.
What do you do during the day?
Financial Advisor. I help people make wise financial decisions.
What do you read?
Most of my reading is done online. I”m constantly scanning websites.
What have you been listening to recently?
Jack Johnson, always and forever the Counting Crows, U2 is where i came from, my most recent love affair is with OAR.
What is your biggest challenge?
Prioritizing family, work, Imago Dei, Young Life, being a good neighbor, being a good sports fan, and keeping up with pop culture.
What is your favorite movie?
What a horrible question, but I’ll give you a movie that bent my noodle more than any other- Usual Suspects.
Making old things new again. I love seeing an old part of town restored or an old house made hip or an old tired faith in someone rejuvenated so that they have a new fervor for God again.
What was your greatest childhood ambition?
Being a second basemen for the Chicago Cubs. Although I did go to space camp…
When you grow up?
I’m not sure what I want to coach but I want to coach.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My parents. They are both imperfect people, as we all are, but they have impacted me in huge ways. I admire qualities in both of them greatly.
What inspires you?
Stories.
What is your favorite snack?
Cheetos.
What is God teaching you through Imago Dei?
Imago has introduced me to the importance of faith as a community over my personal acheivement in faith. I love to be a part of what God is doing in Peoria through our community, and I love that Imago does this through new and fresh ways.
